Still working on this? It seems like a great idea, but it might only intensify the confusion new users feel when faced with taxonomies... Would this change be a good time to shift towards exposing limited application-specific taxonomies to users whenever possible? (User groups, site hierarchies, topic categories, article keywords, etc)
